Organizing

I will hopefully be getting my new planner

in the mail soon (probably not until the end of October) and when I do, I will be adding videos of the box opening/ receiving of the planner, the planning with me and how I use my planner!

Later, I will be adding videos and blog posts about studying and organizing my binders!!

Once I film this video, you should be able to click this photo to the right ---> and you should be led to my youtube page.

How to Keep your Binder Organized

A great way to keep your binder organized is to have an idea about what works best for YOU. This blog entry is simply how I keep my binder organized (and lets be real, that's when it stays organized) and while you can use the tips and tricks I give you, what works for me and for others, may not best fit your style of learning!

So, lets jump into it! First thing first, you need your supplies you use/ will use to stay organized for the quarter, semester, term etc. My list of supplies include (remember, you do not need everything I have on this list. This is my list that I use to stay organized.

                                                My Supplies:

                                                 1) Laptop

                                                 2) Binder for each subject

                                                 3) Notebook for each subject

                                                 4) Dividers

                                                 5) Loose-leaf paper

                                                 6) Hold puncher (3 hole punch)

                                                 7) Colored Pens

                                                 8) Planner

                                                 9) Note cards

                                                10) Sticky Notes

My New Planner

I've tried plenty of planners throughout my time as a student and nothing really worked for me specifically. Instead of putting a bunch of time and effort into finding another planner (which would have been very expensive) and risk it not being a productive calendar for me, I decided to create my very own planner.

I've got three main parts of my life to schedule out.

1. Work

2. School

3. Youtube/ Blog

I decided to include two monthly calendars of the same month because I can separate the different parts of my life into both calendars and I can easily switch to the calendar that applies to my planning right then and there in time.

decided to create a two page per day planner this year and i have a feeling it will work well for me and I'm so excited to plan it out and use it! click on my video above to see what i've created (and exactly how i created it!!)
